For sale is a late serial copy of the well-reputed Leitz 35mm Summaron f2.8 in M-mount (the screw mount minimal focus distance is 1m, the m-mount focues to 0.7m). Hand coded w/sharpie, can be removed if requested.

Just CLA'd, Focus and aperture rings are smooth. Glass in mint and body is as you see in the photos, extra clean.

This is probably one of the cleanest copies of this lens you will ever find. Hardly any signs of use. Lens cap is also clean, bubble box has scratches and a couple of cracks (does not affect functionality).

This lens draws with exquisite grace and detail. Sharp but not brutal and refined, reminds me of the look of the 50 lux pre asph.

Among others, Ken Rockwell loves this lens: http://www.kenrockwell.com/leica/35mm-f28.htm

Price: $720 paypaled Shipping $25 (cont. US)

For those who are less familiar with this lens and the 35mm Summarons.

This is the non-goggled version. You cannot remove the heavy and bulky goggles from the goggled version which is priced around 300-400, while the non-goggled m-mount versions range from 600-900. This is a very good price for an exceptionally clean copy.
