I recently picked up a "black paint" version of the 35 summicron ASPH. It's simply beautiful, excellent condition, with box and all original contents as well as the hood. It is hand-coded (recognized as 35 summicron on my M9).
I love the lens, but the BP version is heavier than the standard version (I believe it's made from brass). I would prefer to have the standard black version to save weight.
I'll be lugging my M9 kit across Italy for 3 weeks, so every ounce matters.
If anyone has a regular black 35 summicron ASPH lens (6-bit coded), and would like to trade, please contact me. There will be some additional cash on your side to balance out the value, but I'll be very reasonable.
