Selling my mint 28mm/1.4 AF-D. I replaced the M-A ring at Melville 2 years ago, it had the endemic hairline crack. They CLA'd it of course, cost $200, and it's seen one mounting since then as I shoot leica now. Comes with HK-4 hood, which has a small dent that occurred from being packed poorly, not while on the lens. (No trauma ever to lens). Lens comes with both caps, but no box or papers. I've looked at recent e-bay sales and a few have sold for $2500 in poorer condition and without hood. It seems the price has come down in recent months from the 3-4K it was, crazily, fetching.
Therefor I feel $2700 (net to me) is a very fair price. Thanks....Peter
