Hi Terry, I am interested in the 24-70. Is the stiffness of the zoom a real bother when shooting? What is the condition of the rest of the lens, the glass, focusing speed/accuracy? Is the hood available separately? Lastly, do you have the box etc.?

Interesting developments.....just took the filter off the lens and the hood went on the lens perfectly. Unless you look very carefully and compare the hoods from my 16-35 and 24-70 you would never know the hood had any issue. I was just having a fiddly problem getting the hood on in Ireland which I can now chalk up to the filters I was using.

There are no issues of focus with this lens versus any others I have for the A900.
