Canon 1ds II - Mint, Low Count less than 10K
Mint Canon 1ds Mark II with very low shutter count. It served as a backup body so the shutter count is only 9872...less than 10K!
1ds II's in this condition are very rare these days and many still believe that the 1ds II was the sweet spot for file size and usability. You can usually spot how 'used' the camera is by looking at the hot shoe in the older bodies with painted hot shoes. There is nearly zero paint loss from the hot shoe on this body. Check out the photo.
Comes with everything as when new, box, accessories, etc. (hand strap shown in photos is NOT INCLUDED), brand NEW eyecup, and two Canon branded NP-E3 batteries that both hold full and consistent charge with one being nearly new and only charged about 2-3 times, purchased new in July of this year from B&H.
For those of you with a 5D II and you don't need another camera with a movie mode, then this is a great camera to pair it with. The AF, instantaneous startup, and the super short viewfinder blackout time on this camera are vastly superior to the 5D II and it is able to get the shot and capture the moment more accurately and consistently. There is just no comparison with the confidence that shooting with a professional 1 series body gives you versus the 5D II or other "semi'pro' bodies.
Camera was cleaned and checked by CPS at Photosplus Expo back in October and hasn't really been used since then. Focusing is very accurate and spot on wide open with my fast Canon lenses: 50mm f1.0, 85mm f1.2, 24mm f1.4, etc.
Pricing for now is set at $2100 NET (shipping in the CONUS is included, but credit card paypal is not), and I am open to offers, but will not respond to low ballers. Preference will be given to NYC metro area buyers, with local pricing set at $2050.
Lot's of + feedback on FM for reference (newyorkone) and have bought and sold items here on getdpi as well.
Shot wide open with the 85mm f1.2 II lens:
