with an appropriate adapter plate, yes.Would this fit on the RZ Pro 2 (non d) series of bodies?
Ah, no place to attach such cord on ZD, alas. So special plate will be needed. Mamiya making one for RZ II, afaik. And probably a wake-up cord as well.
That is indeed the one for the RZ. The problem is that it's specified for the Pro IID only, and it's not clear that it would work on the II non-D. It looks as though it only provides a pass-through for the D's electrical contacts with no obvious provision for "hand shaking" with a non-D.Just found this ... Not sure if it’s the 702 (Mamiya part number 212-107).
No this one is 701, i.e one for IIDDopey.
I read about this recently; it’s the HX701 for the RZ D and the HX702 for the RB67. Nice of them to cater for the older h/w.

The 28 is a different size then the 22/33 one that I posted which is the same size opening as the ZD.No this one is 701, i.e one for IID
Here is one with wakeup cable for RB

But you got to check with them - b/c it might have different opening size, Mamiya ZD is same as Aptus 22/54 size-wise
Pity that Leaf/P1/Mamiya charge you another grand or more for this thing, which is essentually wee piece of metal
Would be interesting to see if this

can be hacked with dremmel and some metal work into doing job.. for 230$ this will be a steal
Yup. Sorry. Didnt went through. The 28 is a different size then the 22/33 one that I posted which is the same size opening as the ZD.
Sergei, I am belatedly thanking you for your use of the [somewhat archaic] “alas.”Ah, no place to attach such cord on ZD, alas. So special plate will be needed. Mamiya making one for RZ II, afaik.
Interesting read. It echos my experience between the ZD and my Aptus-II 7 at iso 100 in the studio, if we ignore the resolution difference.Mark, I found this comparison between the ZD back and the Leaf Aptus 22 on Luminous Landscape.
I need to get comfortable with the RZ in the studio so I can make it pay it's own bills. It was educational doing a "for fun" session with the RZ followed the next day by a paid gig with my 1DsIII.I would love to buy your ZD back as a spare and to shoot IR with it but am simply too broke at the moment.
