This is the Canon DC Coupler DR-E4 for the newer Canon Pro model cameras like a 1DsMKIII etc.

Allows extended shooting in studio etc. by plugging into an AC outlet. Unlike cheaper offerings on e-bay, this one includes the conversion unit box and security locks for the cord. Save your battery ... buy this!
