This is the fourth version of the 35 Summicron, also known as the “Bokeh King” for its pleasant rendering of backgrounds. It’s the smallest and lightest 35 Summicron ever made. Zero distortion. It draws one of the best examples of the classic Leica rendering, i.e. smoother and more forgiving than the ASPH designs.
Important:
- There’s a small scratch/mark on the back of the glass. I can’t detect any affect to image quality in actual use.
- The aperture is a bit tight stepping down from F11 to F16
- Slight wear on the aperture blades when fully stepped down to F16.
$1700 shipped via Registered Post (item is in Australia). Insurance is extra.
