That's a great question. Here's my best guesstimate from looking at the Think Tank website.

1 - Original Speed Demon did not come with a shoulder strap.

2 - My original Speed Demon came with the Pixel Pocket Rocket carrier for flash media.

3 - The outermost zippered compartment might be larger in the V2.0.

Any way, that's my story!
