Clean glass with a few very minor cleaning marks that I couldn't get to show up in a photo (only visible with a VERY bright light shining directly throught the lens at a certain angle), and a bit of dust. Serial no. 7704071, which means it was made in 1977. I love this lens, but recently bought a Nikkor-P.C 85mm/f2 LTM, which is a little better, and can't justify having two 85's.
