I made the mistake of cleaning the sensor myself. I used it with the scratched sensor for over a year until I sent it to Nikon for servicing - Nikon suggested it be replaced - the images w/ a scratched sensor did not appear in compromised in any way - I could not tell any difference.

I'm not sure how serious I am. It would be useful for me and a perfect partner for my D2Xs, but I have too many cameras. I should sell not buy :lecture:
On the other hand, it's probably much easier to sell it if you show some pictures. People like to see what they are buying.
