The optical engineering of this lens is simply superb. Opening up your raw files in LR or Capture One, then applying some sharpening will blow you away. This lens has to be one of the best wide angle lenses ever made. It’s stunningly sharp when centered on the P65 sensor, with only modest sharpness & illumination fall off in the corners.
Excellent condition
Very fast & easy to use. The depth of field is so robust at f8 to f16 that focusing and tilt adjustments are greatly simplified.
Barrel distortion is minimal when sensor plane is perpendicular to the horizon.
Image Circle: 90mm
Filter Thread Size: 86mm
Focal Length Equivalent on 35mm DSLR: 21mm
Accessories: Lee Filter wide angle bellows lens shade with mounting ring (This system also serves as a filter holder) - a $275 accessory included in asking price
Price: $6,000 (bought new for $8,550)
