Microtek Scanmaker i900 Large Format Film Scanner - $325
-6,400 x 3,200 dpi optical resolution
-48-bit color depth, 16-bit grayscale; 4.2 optical density
-ColoRescue technology restores faded photos and film
-Batch templates for 35mm slides, strips, 6-by-9-cm, and 4-by-5-inch media
-USB 2.0 and FireWire IEEE1394 connectivity; PC and Mac compatible
This makes incredibly beautiful scans from 4x5 negs and chromes as well as 35mm up to 8x10". I mostly used this scanner for 4x5 chromes and negs and the results were amazing for prints up to 16x20"
Comes with all included accessories (manual, software, cords, etc.). For newer OS, there is a downloadable software called VueScan that can be purchased for $40, which works perfectly. Newer versions of SilverFast work as well. I've been using it with the VueScan ever since I updated my Mac OS.
Please contact with any questions. Item is in NYC.
