WTB: A few Point and Shoot Cameras

I was informed that I'm going to teach a Photography class next year for high school elective credit.

In anticipation of the course (which has no budget), I'm looking to buy a few point and shoot cameras as DSLRs would probably be too expensive for me to purchase. I figure if I start buying some now, I'll have a nice little set up come August when school will begin.

Please let me know what you might have for sale.
I can have you send the item(s) to my school site or to my home.

Thank you,
Lisa

If you are teaching photography I gather you need manual controls for aperture and shutter? If so, in the budget range is the Panasonic LZ8 at under $110. Here is the Amazon link but B&H has it for the same price.

Here is the review at DPReview where they rated budget cameras and it was the overall winner.

My vote if for all manual cameras. I would get as many Pentax K1000s as you can find the relationship between aperture and shutter speed all came together with that camera.

I'm thinking that digital will be the route I take for this class.
Thank you all for the information!
I have some researching to do...sure glad I started this process early.
