Cambo Ultima 45 View Camera for 4x5 film or high-resolution digital backs - NEW!
Sells for $4,399.99 at Calumet Photo here: http://www.calumetphoto.com/item/CB42405/
This Cambo 45 was purchased by me from the photography department at the Black & Decker company. It was their backup Ultima 45, and was never used. The company photographer did take the belows from this backup kit at some point however (for use with their other Ultima 45), so it was not included when I purchased the system. I purchased another bellows on eBay to replace it, which is in great condition. So except for the bellows, the camera is new and comes in original box and packaging.
My plan for the camera was to purchase a digital back and shoot product photography, however circumstances are preventing me from getting a digital back so I've decided to let the Ultima go. I have assembled the camera to see how the movements work (very exciting camera to handle) and to make sure all of the parts were there, but short of playing with the movements (hard to not play with it once in awhile) I really haven't used it. Would love to keep it if only I could get a digital back, the camera is a truly amazing work of CNC machine art and a stunning design.
The Ultima system is very modular, and this camera can easily be converted to the following:
Use a Cambo or Kapture Group sliding / stitching back for mega-resolution images. http://www.kapturegroup.com/quad/quad.html
Convert it to a $4,000 Ultima 35 system for digital SLR bodies with just a Cambo 2x3 front standard and an Ultima 35 bellows and mounting block.

Convert it to a $4,400 Ultima 23 with just two 2x3 standards and a 2x3 bellows. http://www.cambo.com/Html/products_photo/Linkedfiles/english/download/Item322/Ultima_23.pdf
Add a Betterlight scanning back and the resolution possibilities are endless, perfect for fine art reproduction. http://www.betterlight.com/
Asking $2,375. Email me at drew [at] phototurbo [dot] com, thanks.
