Thanks for the link.

I was surprised/disappointed/hurt when I saw just how many Leica R lenses came from third parties. This was never obvious to me when the lenses were introduced - I feel somehow let down.

I did have the first version of R28-70 and a sigma design. Must be all in part in the coatings... There was a richness of colour...
