Hi,
I need a computer for a new studio. It will be able to handle shooting a tethered 40 megapixel back at around 200 images per hour, 8 hours a day, while running batch processes from the tether in Capture One while files are being outputted to jpg as well as running backups, etc. The files will also be catalogued in LR.
The Leaf dealer is recommending an i7 dual/quad core at 3ghz+ and a $2K video card (I assume something like the nVidia quadra 5800).
Does C1/LR use enough GPU/processer to warrant that level of video card and processor? It does get kinda expensive....
