FAST MacBook Pro - CS4 launch in 3.5 seconds!

I bought a new unibody MacBook Pro 2.54 GHz and installed an Intel X-25 80GB solid state disk. It launches Photoshop CS4 in 3.5 seconds!

Highly recommended, but a little pricey for the drive.

Cool Brad! I have been looking at that drive for use in my MacPro tower. Ironically it is only SATA1 -- would still make a killer scratch and OS disk, and imagine how fast they'd be if you RAID-0'd them? Of course at North of $500 for 80GB, it's a bit pricey. They also have a high-performance 32GB SATA2 version -- over 2x faster on writes -- for about $700. :eek:

Could also put it in my 2.6GHz MacBookPro and probably wake it up some!
