Bibble 5 Pro

Has anyone here tried Bibble 5? Does it live up to your expectations?

I am using LR at the moment and like it, but don't like the lack of soft-proofing. Bibble 5 now has this and what look like good cataloguing features. Who knows when LR is going to get soft-proofing.

I am going to download the trial, but wondered if anyone has any opinions or alternatives.

Cheers.

I hope you have better luck than I had, It worked one time ,next time the slider would not work and the left side files from your computer , were not there the last two time I tried Bibble. Hard to down load from a camera card, could not figure it out.
So I gave up on the system.

I use Bibble 5 and it is one of the fastest RAW converters I have tested. The Andrea Pro B&W plugin is one of the best in the industry. I don't use it for card ingestion, I use Photo Mechanic for that. What's nice is that you can work from the file system or import into the library if you wish. You aren't committed one way or the other. The only thing it lacks is a watermarking solution, but that should be available with v5.1 (currently at v5.03.)
