Apple has released the update adding support for new cameras.

How can they have the likes of the A57 which really only became known last week, where the X-Pro 1 still sits out in the cold?

The CFA that Fuji has adopted with pixels that are spread out in an unconventional pattern, not aligned, and unevenly spaced is giving trouble to many raw developers and this is the main reason why there is not yet official raw support available from Apple, Adobe, Capture One....and by anybody else other then Silkpix.
May be there is some other advantage I am not aware of, but the claim that this unconventional CFA is preventing color moirè, according to my observation is not even true.
