Monitors: HP Z24x

I know it's a very new monitor, but I'm curious if anyone has any experience with the HP z24x or Z27x yet? On paper they look amazing, Dreamworks helped develop them and the price tag for the 24" is incredible ($599).

One would think if it's good enough for Dreamworks it's probably good for most photographers.

Well after nearly a month of waiting my HPZ24x was finally on my doorstep this morning, build quality is superb and the menu system is intuitive. Visually the color depth is amazing, I'm coming off an aging Samsung 245T which was pretty good back in 2008. In fact this monitor is still within calibration and being used, I hope the same for the HP.

After calibration with an XRite i1 Pro and looking at the ICC, HP's claims of 99.x% of aRGB seems very reasonable. We'll see how the long haul goes but so far I'm pretty happy with the results.
