I tried everything and cant get the image size in Cropping. Can someone give me specific instructions as how to do it? There are labs that want the image size already cropped( ex: 16x20 or 8x10) When I crop the image I cant get those sizes. I do apprecite whatever you can do so I can accomplish this. Rollsman44

Image sizes are in pixels, not inches.

If you want to print an 8x10 @ 300dpi, you need a file that's 2400 x 3000 pixels.
The same 8x10 image printed @ 600dpi would need a 4800 x 6000 pixel file.

Leigh, so how do I figure out other sizes? ex 11x14, 16x20
You just multiply each dimension by the dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution that you want the printer to use.

In most cases they will tell you that value because it's a parameter of the printer they're using.

You first crop the image to the correct aspect ratio.

Then you resize your digital image as needed to get the correct dot count.

Phocus has a very good resize algorithm that will yield an excellent result.
I use it routinely for manipulating the image files from my CFV39 back.
