Using 'Photobucket'...getting best results

I use the 'Photobucket' site for posting pix on this site. I notice that the posted shots don't look the same, and are not really as good quality, as the Photobucket image.......

..........Any pointers for best practice?.....or reasons why?....Thanks!

You can try flickr to upload your photos. i used it for a long and it give me best result and same quality of image as original one.

The thing is Photobucket always resized the images to 1024x750 so the image quality may be getting bad! Flickr, Smugmug, Zenfolio etc, dont compress the image size I guess!
