Note for those using ACR/LR - Adobe has a lens profile for the FE16-35 as part of the available ACR update beta.In my earlier post I commented that distortion was quite low at 16 mm. Here's one where I lined up the window on the left with the edge of the frame. Not too bad - and I could have corrected it with the Distortion tool in C1 8 - though I hope they will soon have a profile for the FE. (I tried the existing profile in C1 8 for the A mount 16-35 but it didn't help.)
