Great shot and I like all the photo's you post from your daughter with the dog. They indeed seem an odd but also very cute couple. You're lucky, when I take pictures of our daughters (23 and 25) it's under the condition they don't go on the internet. If they get embarassed they want to do that themselves without any help from their father :toocool:The Odd Couple.... A7RII FE55 1.8
Thanks Doug. Superb as always. You seem to have found your winning combination, namely A7r.2 and APO-R 280/4, for right now. :thumbs:a7rII, Leica 280mm f/4 APO-Telyt-R
Dave, impressive sky...that took a bit of hard work and imagination with that shot...nice oneA7RII. Foreground: Voigtlander 12mm lens ISO 400, 1/400 f10. Sky: A7RII, Sigma "A" mount 12~24mm lens with adapter @15mm, ISO 400 1/30, f5.6. To fit the foreground onto the sky, the format was changed from 3:2 to 4:3.
Thanks for looking.

What differences do you see?Perhaps it is just me. It seems the A7 and 280 APO Telyt was a better combo?
What are they not checking? (sorry, I've been educated in British English )No Checks.
I suspect it's compression artifacts. At 100% I see far fewer aliasing and moire artifacts with the a7rII compared with the a7II. They're not entirely gone but they occur much less frequently.Doug, The first one, Lesser Gold finch, appears to show aliasing (or is it compression features?)? The feathers look a bit odd compared to your normal pictures.
