Auto focus with anything!
They sent an e-mail saying my order shipped, but there was no tracking number. It came to my post box after 2-3 days. I saw they had a tracking number as they need that to get the payment from paypal but they have not provided that in the e-mail. -

Both adapters Canon EF mount to Leica M Mount and Contarex mount to Leica M mount does not fit. The motor at the bottom is thicker then the Sony to m mount distance, so the other adapters are hitting it and do not fit. Only Leica M and LTM lenses I managed to use. -

I received mine yesterday and was testing on a7R 2. My order number was after Vivek's number so it is a little later in the US. It was shipped from CT. It came with firmware ver 2 so that is good as I saw in the Chinese forum that it is just released... -

70-200mm F4 lens for A7rII - which one?
I have la-ea3/4 and metabones 3/4 and confirm that la-ea4 beats all in low light af performance. Sony lenses are Sony g 28-75 2.8, 85mm 2.8, & 70-300 g ver I, Tamron 28-300 pzd. Also beercan even beat Minolta 100mm f2 & Sony 135mm 1.8 in low light af with la-ea4. Usually faster aperture lenses... -

Lightweight and/or compact 135mm for A7R

LAEA3 VS Canon Adapter?
I have only one lens that can work with la-ea3, Tamron 28-300mm pzd lens and it has faster af with la-ea4... The lenses might react differently with each adapter. Sony 50mm lenses (except za) are screw type which need la-ea4... Sigma 50mm 1.4 (older) works with la-ea3 but not the Art lens per... -

Some incredible news for Contax G fans
45mm f2 was the second sharpest lens (after Canon 200 f2) tested on film per photodo tests. They are same planar lenses as Contarex 50mm, ZM 45mm, and Loxia 50mm, going back 60 years. Loxia is the updated Sony version, most probably sharper then 45mm, but no af... 35mm is not at 45mm level, but... -

Some incredible news for Contax G fans
Thanks for the update. The constant hunting happens at less the mfd happens with Sony lenses also. It comes from the af system... I tried TechArt web link for the firmware, but it is inactive. Hopefully they will put it online also. Right now they have only android/iphone app access...
