    A7rII with Canon AF database reference.

    Canon 200mm f2.8 II USM and 40mm f2.8 working great with Techart EOS-iNEXII adapter with version 3 firmware. One caveat, I had to use my A7r to upgrade the firmware. My A7rII wouldn't recognize the adapter until it was updated. I was able to use AF-C and Wide to track moving objects. I don't...

    Good luck with your project, I think there is potential for some amazing images. I don't think you need to open the camera up to add more power. They make an SAC-5 power adapter that would allow a larger lipo battery. AC Adapter SAC-5 for the DP Merrill bodies | Sigma -Tom

    My one concern would be that the camera is too thin for the mount to work. Trying the Zacuto, the mount was too long and left a gap between the lcd and veiwfinder. -Tom
