I am not familiar with the D4. Can you dial down the to 8 mega pixels and still shoot NEF? I am shooting my kids, so I shoot raw so I have more room for exposure and colour balance error if I happen to get the perfect shot. -
Leica 180/2.8 (2-Cam) or Nikon 180/2.8 (ED AIS)

Nikon kit Stolen
Roger: We rented an apartment near there about ten years ago and I don't think you will have a problem as long as you don't leave anything at easy reach. Our Apartment was on Rue Cannettes, which was in an area with some pubs and I think the street ended at Sacre Coeur. -
ZM 18mm on M240?
Dave: Have you tried coding it as a WATE? Not sure which frame lines the WATE brings up, so if the Zeiss doesn't bring up the same frame lines you may not be able to code it as a WATE. From my experience, the WATE was the best of the Leica Wide angles at the time, though I have no experience... -
Milich WATE adapter on FF?
Those of us that had a WATE and the M8 much appreciated your effort. The Leica method of mounting a filter was pretty ugly and I also think prone to flare. -

Jono: I will have to look at the hood again. I think it is metal and plastic, with the baffle portion plastic. edit: Jono was correct, it is an all metal hood. Custom In Camera Crops
There is an option in the D800e that gives you different crops, but not the 4x3.
