    GFX 63mm vs 32-64mm question

Jim Kasson just posted this comparison and it is pretty much the same as what I found and stated last week. He posted examples :) http://blog.kasson.com/the-last-word/fuji-632-8-32-644-on-gfx/

GFX with custom 24mm TSE ii in Los Angeles

It took some time to get used to it.. I just wondered if you have used it yourself. The reviews I read were generally good so I was a bit disappointed by my findings. Their 50mm got poor reviews.

GFX with custom 24mm TSE ii in Los Angeles

I have been using the Schneider 28mm and 90mm PC-TS Super Anglon lens on the GFX. The lenses are in Nikon mount and I use a Nikon to GFX adapter. I did a comparison of the Nikon 24mm PC-E and Schneider and the Nikon was better edge to edge and from what I read the Canon 24mm TSE II blows the...

    GFX 63mm vs 32-64mm question

I have the zoom but met a local photography who had the prime. I shot some images at infinity. As great as the zoom is-- the prime is even better in terms of resolution especially at f4 - 5.6. The prime is just a little better than the zoom in the center but you can see the biggest...

    GFX focal length gap ...

Jim Kasson has used number of long focal length third party lens on the GFX system. I have gotten nice results with the Zeiss 135mm f2 Apo-Sonnar. Mild vignetting that clears up at about f4.5. http://blog.kasson.com/?s=Fuji

Best adapted lenses for the GFX system?

I took some photos with the Hasselblad 40mm CFE IF and willing to dropbox some RAWs or jpgs to anyone interested. In my opinion, the 32-64 is pretty close at first glance. The hassy has a bit of fringing -- but minimal and removable. Perhaps Hassy a bit more micro contrast but the hassy is so...

    GFX raw converters

I am happy to send some raw files to you. To be honest, I have worked with LR and ON1 and not very happy with the RAW conversion. I am trying to develop a workflow but not happy with what i have experimented with yet.

Best adapted lenses for the GFX system?

Took some photos with the Zeiss 135mm f2.0, 180mm f4 Voigtlander Apo Lanthar (for Nikon), and the Fuji 120mm macro. The top image is the 180mm but I cannot remember if the aperture was 4 or 5.6. The focus point was the second row of red tulips. The second and fourth are from the Fuji f4.5 and 4...

That Fuji GFX seems remarkably good…

Today I had a chance to play with the macro lens. I shot some images at very high F stops and I was amazed that the degree of diffraction and image degradation is much less noticeable compared to what I would get with the Sony A7RII or Nikon D810. This is a real plus..
