accurate focus with sliding back?

Anybody with experience using a MFDB on a LF camera with a sliding back & fixed loupe who can give me some idea of how easy/difficult accurate focus is to achieve with this setup?

My guess is the MFDB is more demanding regarding accurate focusing on ground glass than film. What I am not sure about how much effort it requires to get right,

Of course. Need preciseness. :D

Required preciseness film / digital = 0.2mm / 0.02mm or 10X

Good GG. Higher magnification on loupe to see better because your 4x5 area is now down to sensor size... :facesmack:

Micromovements and bright GG will be helpful. Tight tolerance (shimmed?) between GG and sensor plane, and sliding. Durable ???

Techno may be best option. Or tech camera like Alpa, Cambo or Arca.

Worth effort? Ask why need it. :D

Best regards,
Anders
