I'm looking through some files now to see. So far I'm not seeing it the lower ISO settings. I'll post some examples shortly.Damn. Thats a real bummer. Is it only on high iso or can you see them on low as well?

i hope this was a fluke. Some of us may recall seeing that same sort of line in the M8 files long, long ago. Not suggesting the M9 will have the same sorts of issues, and I really, really hope that it does not, but high ISO is still not the forte of Leica. They are getting a lot better, but still some kinks to get worked out. Not unlike some of the banding issues that Nikon had before they got things smoothed out.

I using CS4 and Adobe Camera Raw (latest upgrade). I'll try another in a few.Try a different raw processor
Yup. I just found it in a shot at 160, which is the lowest I tried. Not happy....it will be there at all iso's just more visible at higher iso's. also it is independent of raw processors.
I would demand to get a new one.Yup. I just found it in a shot at 160, which is the lowest I tried. Not happy.
set the luminance noise reduction to zero and it will be more obvious. Here's a shot at ISO 320. It's subtle but it's there...
The Leica rep is still at our local shop. I'm on the phone with them right now!!I would demand to get a new one.
my stuck row persisted through a couple firmware updates. I was waiting to send it in for the upgrade so lived with it. but firmware is not going to fix it.Lloyd what version firmware . there is a update out there to 1.02 but I am not sure what it exactly does
Version 1.00. Not been upgraded yet. My rep is checking her two cameras right now.Lloyd what version firmware . there is a update out there to 1.02 but I am not sure what it exactly does
You certainly maybe right Robert just checking some of the obvious things to start. And I agree you can get a bad sensor
