That first one I like (the others are good as well.) But it should be in the "Abstracts" thread.;)

Some friends needed some pictures for their new website promoting their restaurant. This was my first photo gig and it got me and the missus a free dinner. This is probably not a shot that they will use, but I like it a lot - 75 lux with Alien Skin conversion

The 50mm Summicron is a lens that doesn't get a lot of attention, but it is still one of the best 50's available. The images it creates are both smooth and sharp at the same time.

I think this was at f2.8 or f4.

Seemed like a subdued Memorial Day in our little New Hampshire town on Monday. Lovely weather, but fewer than the usual number of people observing the ceremonies. Always interesting to see veterans in their 80's marching with current active duty soldiers. The ones too old to march get driven.

Great series Reynolds! All are good, but I think you should print #3 in addition to #1!

I had fun with this one. An Elliot Erwitt moment? ;)

PeterA: great! There's a dog for everyone apparently.
DaveB: wonderful. I love the skin tones in the last B&W.

I've been tied to the computer so haven't been out much. I get antsy though when I don't have fresh photos around. So I took a walk around the house and managed these simple shots. Kind of a rejuvenating break from pushing a mouse around. 75 lux wide open.
