I agree, Steve. Especially when it's in the hands of such a capable and creative photographer!;)
You taking the mickey? ;)
At the time I'd just woken up, had neither glasses nor contacts, if you take pictures with rangefinders without these things, and they come out, then I'd call that luck:)

thanks though.

I'd rather be lucky than good!

I'll try shooting without my glasses today, and we'll see how it goes. ;)

Very nice, Steve. With the 90? (Is it autumn in the Midwest already? ;))

BTW, she has great taste in digicams!!
Ha...actually the leaves were green but I changed them using a Color Efex filter called "Indian Summer" as I liked the look of the yellow leaves better :)

Also, this was shot with the 35 Summilux at 1.4 - wide open! Love this lens as well as the 90.

Thanks!

Hi Steve
Lovely shot - and she must be as lovely as my Emma to be smiling like that after all the lenses you've bought recently :ROTFL:
Thanks Jono. Yes, she is great but she already told me..I CAN BUY NO MORE LENSES! Also, to buy the 90 (which I really really like) I did some lens swapping. Swapped my silver 50 Lux towards a Zeiss Sonnar 50 and the 90 Summicron APO and only paid a couple hundred difference. Not bad...

I may still swap my 28 cron for a 24 elmarit, but that would be an even trade.

Thanks again!

Steve

Ah yes - the terrible lens lust. The trouble with changing them, is that you want the one you got rid of back again! At the moment I have:

15 CV
WATE
25 zeiss
28 'cron
35 'cron
50 sonnar
75 'cron
90 elmarit

This has been settled now since I bought the 28 'cron in january, and before that for almost a year. One thing I have learned is that big lenses get left behind !

Wow, very nice JAAP........if I wasn't blown away by my 24 Elmarit ASPH, I would be really envious

This is my favorite of the series. Beautiful image. (I was sorry you edited it from the first post, but glad I had the link in the email;)) I'll just bet the print was stunning! Great work.

(BTW, I enjoyed your review of the 35 lux. Good stuff.):salute:

It is a great shot, and one of the reasons I love the 35/1.4...but you are adding the vignetting right? The 35/1.4 ASPH should not vignette that much...particularly on the M8...
