Ah Helen, it's TWO favorite lenses, the dreamy delicate f1.5 and the brutal sharp f2.8 and onward.Woooohooooo..THAT 50 SONNAR shot Rocks
IT is my ALL Time FAV Lens with such a Magnificent Sig all its own!!!!!
Thanks Helen! Yea, I love it already and realized after seeing some images with it a couple of weeks ago that I like the signature of the sonnar more than I did the 50 Lux. Now, the 50 lux is perfection, but sort of clinical as it is sooooo sharp.Woooohooooo..THAT 50 SONNAR shot Rocks

I bribe him...Nothing wrong with the lens or the photograph (both lovely), but what have you done to your son that he'll pose? . .. I have three of the buggers, and trying to take a photograph of them is more difficult than getting a saddle on the horse!
I see what you mean about this lens. It draws really nicely. Sharp with a fine grain, without being cold or clinical. Good choice. One more quick snap from the Sonnar today...1.5
Very nice. That 18 is sweet. Looking forward to more.Couldn't resist. Here's one more with the 18mm super elmar.

I'd love one, but I already have the 15, and going for the 12 seems a bit extravagant! Thanks Jono, you´re right - it´s the CV 12mm - for me a must have lens
