Breathtaking Lloyd. Very nice clouds

Can't you fix the magenta with Cornerfix?
(and perhaps clean your Kodak sensor from time to time. :toocool:)

I'm planning to try corner fix on this one, and a few others I took with that lens yesterday. (and to clean the sensor... it really does need it!)

These images are just stunning. The M9 is really showing its stuff in the hands of such a good photographer.

Keep up the great work and keep posting

Mike -- thanks for sharing all of your wonderful photos, I really admire them and the results you are achieving with this new camera. I'd be very curious to know how much pp'ing you generally do on your photos and which tools you are using (c1, lr, ps). I am indeed inspired! Many thanks, tony. ps: if you have something already "published" on the topic, please point me to it! thx.

Great shots Mike! I especially like the 4th and 5th (sunset) shots. Your getting some nice colors out of that camera.

Thanks for all the comments - I appreciate them.

Tony - regarding post-processing...

For the images shown above, I used LR3 beta. For other images in this thread, I've generally used LR2, except for some high ISO shots which I processed in C1.

My post-processing is generally fairly straight forward:
- minor adjustments to white-balance
- Correct exposure (usually a small amount of highlight recovery and shadow recovery are also added)
- Add clarity (usually about +30)
- Add sharpness (generally 40 / 0.5 / 70 for landscape shots; amount = 40, radius = 0.5; detail = 70)
- Add a mild S-curve to the contrast
- Add vignetting for effect, mainly on portraits

That's about it for 90% of my photos. A bit more for troublesome shots (selective dodge/burn), and a bit more color filter adjustments when doing B&W conversions.
