Lloyd, thank you, I did. A very close friend dropped by and we had a few shots of RAKI during lunch and I read your wish upon returning to the office. Prophetic, wasn't it?Good morning Osman. Have a wonderful day, my friend.
Ah, Orhan Pamuk! The writer I've been struggling with for quite a number of years... I've read two of his novels, and must admit that although an avid reader myself, I found his style difficult to cope with.Osman! You really make me wish for a trip to Istanbul. My wife´s visited you city several times, but not me. So far.
Btw.: I just gave her Orhan Pamuk´s latest novel - I´m having my go now during the holidays.

All really nice Woody, as is the one on the Season's Greetings thread, but this one is really something special. Thanks for sharing.Today's post to my blog from San Miguel de Allende Mexico. M9 plus 28 chron.
Really nice Matt. The isolation on the cat in that first one is terrific. Congrats on the M9... now I'm truly jealous! And Merry Christmas to you. :thumbup:Merry Christmas and/or happy holidays to all. My M9 came yesterday. Here's a few from this morning. I haven't got the autofocus figured out; so, they're a work in progress. M9 w/35mm f/1.4. Cheers
Lloyd: Thanks. She just climbed up there and sat for about a minute (taking a rest from her stocking full of catnip treats). It's fun to have a Leica M camera again. This one seems really special. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Cheers.Really nice Matt. The isolation on the cat in that first one is terrific. Congrats on the M9... now I'm truly jealous! Really like #'s 2 and 3 here. Esp #2 - great detail throughout and it really leads one's eye well up the stairs.Overcast skies and December cold in Istanbul. Wandered around old mosques and cemeteries with M8 and 1:3.8/18mm.
Best,
Osman
Beautiful. Leif. My wife and I are avid Nordic skiers. That looks like fun!!Half a meter of snow last night :wtf: - on top of what we had. It´s starting to look good. So, after shoveling, there was no way around it. My daughter, the dog and I into the woods. We started at 1 pm, so the sun was already beginning to set halfway into the trip. An absolutely grand day; triceps aching, dog sleeping like he was dead - everybody feeling great. Happy holidays everybody!
