not so much about 'more fun', more like monkeys in distress IMV ...

Knorp - I am loving that 2nd shot with the 2 monkey hugging each other - it is showing such deep, very human emotions.

Some from last long weekend with some college buddies. We spent 2.5 days in Buena Vista and Salida Colorado, doing photography (and eating, and drinking beer).

1. From foot of Spiral Drive outside Salida. M8 + Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 Biogon
2. Salida alley entrance. M8 + Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 Biogon
3. Chr.sler. M8 + Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 Biogon
4. Hotel - Palace - Hotel. M8 + Konica 90mm f/2.8 M-Hexanon

All B&W conversions done with Nik Silver Efex Pro. Will have some color ones to follow.

Very, very nice all. Love the toning on the 2nd and 3rd images. Nice work on that last one with the 90 Hex. I have and love that lens.

Matt, very gracious of you. venice is lovely but not the prices:D

Regards.

rayyan: Beautiful image. Venice is one of my favorite places on earth (odd expression since I don't have any favorite places that aren't on earth). Thanks for sharing.

Cheers, Matt

I just love the walk around captures. You have done then extremely well
with your 90/2.8. The colors in a market place always..always makes me pause.

Regards.

a fun little pre-easter and bday bash for a soon to be nephew-in-law... whatever that is actually called...

i could put a ton more up, but these are my favorites from the afternoon! it was a blast and quick learning experience to catch focusing in a party for a 7 year old! so much running around, i think i learned more about handling the camera today than i have in the past few weeks with it!

4 shot with the 90/2 and easter egg hunting with the 50/1.4 pre-asph.

i have also been noticing the ability on the M9 to find some amazing detail in areas that look completely blown out at first in Lightroom - ran into that a couple time today moving between indoors and outdoors quickly, but managed to salvage a lot of info that would never be recovered on my old pocket-sized digital camera. brand new app for me since getting the camera so i'm loving it!
From today's Easter celebrations...

Best.
Hi out there,
after a week of time out due to a new installation of my PC
some spring greetings
(sorry, not more time tonight)
