Matt, funny, I was just here today with the X1. Great shots! YOu have been prolific here!

Also, major props to Bebert (amazing work with the 400!!!!Do you need the visio to make that happen?), Jeff (wow, you life in the land of flowers!!!!), Jose, Franz, and Dierk (more magnificent flowers), Rayyan (I love your processing), and Steve (simply outstanding, and a bit different than your prior efforts...lovely as usual though). Matt, I was in Seattle long time ago. You are making me want to come again.

I love them market places.

Regards.

Some shots of a very funky band at the Pike Place Market, Seattle. They're in front of the original Starbucks. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Matt

Thanks very much, yes you'll need the visoflex to use this kind of lens.

Thats their song! I worked at a nightclub while going to college and they played there. That was pretty much the only song that made it big. Its funny the only other tune that sticks out in my memory by them had the former soviet president Yuri Andropov in the lyrics ! Weird, but i still remember it!:)

A Photo Essay...On the way to Shangri La...#1

Legend has it that beyond these mountains, covered with snow and shrouded
in mist lies the fabled land of Shangri La

The entrance to this Land is protected by Guardians from time immemorial

The people have gazed across the valleys and plains to the far distant peaks
and wondered what Shangri La would be like

Most of them would gather behind their fortified walls, with their offerings
to their gods and gaze in awe and wonder at the majesty of that which
might lie beyond.

But, as is usual, there were a few brave souls that dared to embark on
a journey. Many many perished; those that returned told of an experience
that most mortals only dream of....

To be continued..
