Handheld. With a little bit of practice you can be perfect every time, as long as you avoid foreground background situations where you really do need to be on a tripod to rotate on the lens's nodal point.Wow! Woody I'm impressed with your stitch. did you do this on a tripod or handheld? Eleanor

Ashwin: Great stuff! Welcome back The B&W's great. I like the way the Venetians and the tourists (guy rolling his suitcase through the water) just get on with it. We were there once when it was like this. I also like the first photo: rubber boots and Carnevale decorations (Christmas?). Cheers, Matt
