matt - the colors are amazing and gorgeous!! your DOF is perfect! incredibly sharp where it needs to be, but the gradual falloff is so graceful...

daniel - i'm not really a landscape person, but these two are out of this world! great job!!

I am on an editing roll, with some more Noct to share...

Ashwin --

Gasworks Park?? Biggest grassy hill that I know of...need to get there on my next trip to Seattle. Wanted to say how much I appreciate your travel images and your nightclub images as well...all well done. I also stopped posting to DPR some time ago as I never felt that I attained any real feedback that was helpful...probably just me but that is the route I took.

Look forward to your additional posts...

That sums it up pretty well. Amazing shot.
Steve/Panda81/Lloyd: Thank you gentlemen! :D That rose is right by our front porch. I really love "old-fashioned" roses. Cheers, Matt.

I posted a similar photograph several days ago. It was vertical with the colors more saturated. I didn't bring up the value and chroma in this photo. This lens has really nice bokeh! Cheers, Matt
