Thanks Lloyd and Matt.

Here’s another one with the 18mm. What a great lens!

B/w jpegs from the camera. Some heavily processed. A nightmare seems to haunt me occasionally. The setting, Heybeliada Island; gear, M8 and 28'cron.

Thanks Lloyd and Matt.

Here’s another one with the 18mm. What a great lens!

David: Beautiful B&W! Great reflections on the sculpture. :salute:

Managed to get into the garden with a cold beer and the 75/2.

I really like the OOF areas from this lens.
Simon
Simon: Great shots! The PP's great. That 75/2 could be my favorite Leica lens. The OOF's beautiful. And, so are your girls. Stylin'

Cheers, Matt

Phew! A whole bunch of masterpieces posted while I was asleep! I guess I'll have to make do with shorter naps to be able to savor the output of this group. Well, why not?
Lloyd, Matt and rayyan; thank you very much my friends.
Tommy, Simon, Matt and those whose names escape me at the moment: Simply wonderful.

Impressive separation. Love the shallow dof, and the bokeh.
Lloyd: Thank you sir! :D

We had Thunderstorm from west here in Denmark yesterday.
M8 elmar 21mm f/11 ..

Tommy
Tommy: These are really nice. My favorite is the first one. The composition with the low horizon, silhouetted trees, dark grass lightening towards the center left, and the sky with the bright areas at lower left works very well to create focus. The heavy, monolithic, cloud seems to push down and the light on the grass moves the eye to the lit sky. Simple, elegant and dynamic. Cheers, Matt

Thanks Matt, much appreciated. I too am enjoying the 75/2 a lot. I swapped my Summarit for the f/2 and the OOF rendering is so much nicer, but then for the money it should be ;)

You didn't even have to list the lens used - I'd recognize the 75/2's signature anywhere :) Nice pictures too :)
Thanks John. I can't believe how good this lens is. The Summarit was excellent, but this is a notch or two up I feel.

I agreed +1
