It's pretty amazing but I can spot a 28 cron shot a mile away. Love that lens

Re: More and more fun with M8 images

Very nice series Lloyd. Your family is well used to you with a camera and they all seem at ease. Well done!

This from a forgotten day at the harbor, trying to make something from nothing. Just for color (can you tell I'm sick of winter?)
That is just a gorgeous image. Makes me hungry for lobster (although the truth is, despite being from Boston, I actually prefer crab), and BLUEBERRIES!!!

I'm with you, Tim... bring on Spring!

Another from the CV 50/1.5 Nokton, wide open. I purchased a copy of this lens a couple of years ago, when I first got my M8. I liked it very much, but then ended up with four 50mm lenses and sold the Nokton. I recently decided to get another, and this arrived yesterday. Just playing around with it wide open reminds me why it is I like it so much. I draws beautifully, with just the right "sharp" softness. Certainly for portraiture, I prefer it over the 50 Lux ASPH.

#2: Graffiti (28 cron)
#3: Flea Market (28 cron)
#4: Argentinian Restaurant (ZM 21)

The whole series is really nice, Mike. I particularly like the last one.

What lens(es) were you using here?

That first one is incredible! :salute:

I would have never guessed that was Pat Benetar... I guess I'm not the only one who's changed over the years, eh? ;)

Those are all great Mike! It looks like a fantastic place and I'm wicked jealous of all that sun and fun. One more month for me before I get a taste of the tropics.

Thanks for posting them!

Yeah, she's aged, but she can still really sing.

Our company (SAP) hired her to do a concert for us on the last night. Pretty cool - I was about 15 feet away from her.

More greatness... wow.

You're really rockin' that 21 ZM. Some sweet results from that jewel.

I have to admit to being most envious of your week in the sun!

A lovely shot with the 50/1.5.
