The All New More and More Fun With Digital M Images

Re: The All New More and More Fun w/M8 Images

Thanks Lloyd. Lucky snap. I had the camera in "belly grab" mode at f8 and hyperfocal. I'm not really much on shooting our ballpark extras, but the shoes caught my eye and I had to click. Seems the norm for these type of shots here is to take it to black and white - but the shoes require color.
Hmm... well, b/w certainly wouldn't have quite the same impact, what with those shoes. But, the image is very neutral overall, with the exception of the shoes and the blue and white item behind the subject, so the impact or effect is essentially the same as a b/w image, and the shoes really make it. As for "lucky", I'd rather be lucky than good.

Again, nicely done.

Two more street shots from my trip to Los Angeles. The first one has a few spots from an apparently dirty sensor. Guess I'll need to bring my sensor cleaning kit with me when I travel.

akiralx,
This is nice. Beautiful composition and very nice colours. The background looks like a painting.

Hi!
Four shots from Istanbul: The Bosphorus ferry with WATE; red Porche, architectural monstrosity and pink cotton candy vendor with Summicron 35mm. Still waiting for that spring to arrive.
Best,
Osman

Nice. I particularly love that last one. The pink cotton candy really jumps off the screen. BTW, that really is a monstrosity.

Here are some from Easter here in Iceland...I went to Videy, an island out in the bay, with some friends. It was a beautiful day...not too long and everything will be completely green. It is already starting to stay light until 9-9:30pm...soon night will disappear altogether.
This is the island several months ago -- this was with an M8 too I believe!

And yesterday

Thank you both! There is a color version of a similar one...
Wow, that stained glass really jumps. I hadn't realized it was so vivid. That prior image, and perhaps in large part because it's b/w, is still my fav of the series.
