DP1 with M mount & focus confirmation

It be an DP1 tipe of camera with a M8 sensor and M mount. the screen could be turned off when zone focusing.

Also a 21/1.4 lens specially made for the smaller immage circle of the sensor size.

I'd be happy even with the foveon sensor and not the M8 sensor.

The M mount would be a dream if it ever happened...

I'm very happy with the M8 as it is. The last thing Leica needs to do now is move out of their area of expertise. A Digital CL with a lower price point is a more reasonable direction for Leica to go. The current sensor is fine.

or just put an M mount into a DP1 and see how it works. Is there someone that can do that?

that and a kit with cv12, 15, 21 & 35/2.5

I don't know how easy it is to manually focus with the sigma camera but something that I would really miss with it would be to zone-focus by feel without looking.

and it could work as a pocket backup to the M8
