50/1.4 LUX Pre-Asph lens won't focus right

Is it me or the lens? I have a Leica 50 f1.4 Lux pre-asph with the built in hood. I, for the life of me, cannot get it to focus right. I do not have any trouble with my 35/2 Cron Asph focus. How can I tell if it is me or the lens?

I have sent bodies along with lenses, that way he can match them for perfect focus. He's got test equipment no one else has and can really fine-tune things.

Durr, I'd call or email Don, my experiences with his first rate services are that if you have other lenses working fine on your body, he just needs your lens, but send him an email to confirm.

Just to say, I had a sample that wasn't perfectly adjusted, and I probably didn't know it. It was sold, and I just reacquired one (BP) and it is amazingly sharp even at 1.4 close focus distance, much better than my old one. So, well worth getting it right with DAG, maybe even more than you'd guess.....Peter
