Adjustment?

I've recently noticed my pictures seem soft, I thought it was me, or maybe the new 28 cron but I took delivery today of a 50 Lux and it seems soft too. Is it possible my camera is out of adjustment? If I send my M8 to DAG should I send the lenses too?

JAAP, It seems too.
Mark, My 35LUX was razor sharp and it to seems soft too but granted it was a quick test outside on a overcast day. I haven't had much time lately to spend time with my camera so maybe more critical tests are in order. I just want it to be perfect before I head on my trip in July.

I guess I'm going to box all of this up and send it to DAG. Insurance on this overnight package is going to be freaky :).

Mike- I've seen that look from my wife before. Usually after opening another box and testing it's contents on her! ;>) We've all been there with our spouses I'm sure. More to the point, my 50 lux arrived out of adjustment new from Solms (my discount purchase as an original M8 owner). I choose to pay and send it to DAG rather than to Leica under warranty. He fixed it just fine! best...Peter

Yeah, I packed up my M8, 21Elmarit, 28cron, 35lux, 50lux and sent it all to Don at DAG. FedEX bill (with 20K insurance) was $170.00 X 2 (there and back).
But I was happy to do it rather than sending it to NJ. Don said he would turn it all around in less than a week.

I was waiting to see that insurance number. Less than a week is fantastic.
