Lloyd: I don't like how this ' sniffing ' thing is progressing. Dogs, then deer,
I am afraid to even think what might come up next.

Honey, remember how we first met!!:wtf:

Switzerland...the way we saw it...

We saw it by air, by car, by train, by bike but most of all we saw it for free..

We wanted to be near the mountains...within them...to see the sunset and the moonrise...

Nice catch Matt; it looks like she was buying flowers though.
sweet peas are flowers too!
lovely ones.
Spot On Beautiful Image Of The Mrs.!!!
...Matt, lovely capture of the wife!...
+1 from here. And I laugh too, because Mimi is always happy to hang on to the $$$... 'til the eagle screams!
Gentlemen: Thank you. :D Sweet Peas are her favorite flower. Very fragrant. She's much better at hanging on to the $$$ then me (no expensive addictions)!

Cheers, Matt

Dan, Consistent Top Notch Work!!!
Daniel: +1. You're the master of those near foreground seascapes.

Thank you, Lloyd. And Matt, the anniversary party was at a home in Federal way. It's on a ridge overlooking the valley.
Peter: Cool. Again, nice photos.

Rayyan: These are awesome. The mountains above timberline are humbling and energizing at the same time! I envy you and Aleysha. Looks like late Summer, or early Fall?

Cheers, Matt

Steve: Dear friend thank you so much.

Where do you want to have lunch, I asked.

France; where else does one have lunch? she said.

But of course mon cheri, let's catch the ferry....

France on your left Steve. That's the way we saw it. And had a quick bite.

Ray, great stuff as usual. Your travels around the world are giving me the travel bug again. I will need to make it happen!

As for my processing, 3tu3ni, I documented my process on a post on page 10, I believe...basically, I use LR3, apply one of the "look" filters (#3 is my fav), adjust the histogram to get a slightly underexposed image, do a bit of selective dodge and burn, and selective clarity brush, then use split toning (highlights using yellow tint, at 15-20% saturation, shadows with blue tint at 5-10% saturation. Then I add some grain to my liking (approx amount 40, size 10-15, roughness of 30). Add a bit of highlight priority vignetting, and I am done.

Best,
Ashwin

Ashwin: Thanks pal.

We are lucky to be able to travel Ashwin. I hope you all the luck too.

...the way we saw it...

We walked a road one day. The clouds were gone, as if by magic.

We saw a mountain. We were drawn towards it. So we walked in its direction.

p.s i have just been told by my co-traveller that the first photo was taken with a Nikon.
the cam is being waved at me!! I shall let it stand for now.
