Is there hope that Leica reintroduce a regular chrome m9? I remember that a chrome & ostrich leather M9 was announced recently as a Mitsukoshi (Japan only) edition.

Is this the start of the end of the M9?

Safari Edition M8 - followed by - White edition M8
= M9?
Titan edition M9 - followed by Nieman-Marcus M9
= ?????

Start the rumor mills :)

Honestly, I wish they'd quit screwin' around and get that monster backlog under control.
Are these things mutually incompatible? I really hope not, as 'screwin around' and 'getting my monster backlog under control' are my two biggest ambitions in life.

It's about time Leica. I've been wanting to pull the trigger on an M9, but I wanted a camera that was really, really SPECIAL.....a camera that reflected my personal taste and style. A camera that set me apart from all the common Leica owners out there (yes, I'm talking about you).

Thank you Leica. :ROTFL:

P.S. I'm glad the folks at Leica didn't waste their development budget on an R10. This is SO MUCH better!!! :wtf:

I don't see the price anywhere. How do we know it is so expensive?.

You know that an awful lot of people think $7000 plus thousands more for lenses is pretty decadent. All a matter of perspective.

Well, the backlog is over, we have plenty of M9s in stock now. So I guess the screwin' around is completed. ;)
