Wow, what a wonderful portrait, Steve!
M9, 75 Lux, ISO 1000
That's a super set, Anthony. Love the contrast and overall processing. Here are some from my trip back home for X'mas break.
An excellent set of photos. Here are a few of my visit to the bird sanctuary on Maui yesterday morning.
Lloyd, that Nocti sure looks good wide-open.Just killing some time at Costco this afternoon.
M8, Nocti f1.0, wide open.
This one is very cool, Doug. Your processing brings out the massive size of the structures."Curves" M9 35mm Cron ASPH
Great image, David. I love the conversion and the spacing here. Thank you so much for the kind words. I am starting to consider putting a book together given the feedback that I have gotten....thanks!
+1 from me. Just as he said!
David,
As with my comments to Ashwin - beautifull renditions. I am just starting out and you folks have such great techniques and I want to learn more. Both you and Ashwin have a "look" that I would like to learn more about. Would you be able to share what RAW processor you are using for these - again especially for the B&W conversion?
David, great shot! Very nice composition.
Thanks Ashwin, Lloyd, RAM, Charles, and Steve.David E, More Spectacular Views from Vegas!
These are great, David. BTW, nice post on the Leica Camera Blog. Two more from last month's Vegas trip.
The first was with the Voigtlander 12mm, while the second one with the 24 lux.
Anthony: +1! Weather's a little different there then in Minneapolis. The bag and the fisherman are my favs. :thumbup:Anthony, Tremendous Detail,Contrast & Looks! Love the "Heavy Bag" & # 3!
Steve: +1! Bling-worthy! :thumbup:Stunning portrait, Steve. This is what the lens was built for...and it sings for you!
Here are a few of my visit to the bird sanctuary on Maui yesterday morning. Those dang birds don't let you get close. All with the 90 ASPH; some heavily cropped.
+1! I like the birds and the hound. :thumbup:Very nice all, cropping notwithstanding. I had a bird like that 3rd one once. Called her Pebbles.
David: Article, blog and gallery - nice stuff! :salute: Cheers, MattFamous Forum-Mate!

Just got back from meeting. My shooting schedule for next week doesn't look good at all. Gotta finish all my homework way ahead. I think I am going to be gone for awhile again. Hopefully will have some digital m photos to share.
Lloyd: +1! Beautiful color. Not from your front porch? :thumbup:Lloyd, Brilliant Color,Comp & 3D Feel!!!
David: Really great! I'm curious, did you process these differently then your usual? Slightly grainier? :thumbup:Two more from last month's Vegas trip.
The first was with the Voigtlander 12mm, while the second one with the 24 lux.
LOL. Thanks Matt. Not, not the front porch. But that mountain with the snow on it in the distance is the "front porch" mountain. I think that counts. :thumbup:Lloyd: +1! Beautiful color. Not from your front porch?
Cheers, Matt
