I was in SoCal on business yesterday. I was walking to my appointment and it was 83 degrees, when suddenly it hits me: IT'S JANUARY!!!

Not much time for shooting, but did get this at Huntington Beach. (BTW, it's been snowing here today... yuk!)

Hard to imagine a better image of a sun-drenched beach. Love the seemingly haphazard (but wonderfully balanced) arrangement of the people.

Love the multilevel composition, human interest between the guy and gal, and graffiti overlay against the sanitation truck. It all comes together beautifully. One of your best photos ever (and that's saying a lot).
